The 1001 Genomes Project for Arabidopsis thaliana allowed us to catalogue and characterize the genetic diversity within the species. In Pathodopsis, we add a second layer of diversity, of the microbes colonizing the plants. In 2018, we will undertake several collection trip all over Europe, and sample plants from previously described populations.
